Hey, I'm Rhi!

I'm a UI/UX designer passionate about creating experiences that feel as interactive and immersive as the games and stories that inspire me. I bring a balance of creativity, technical skill, and collaboration to every project, with a focus on user-centered design and practical problem-solving.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring new hiking trails, photographing moments on the go, or trophy hunting in a game. I also love spending time with my pets and discovering great restaurants, letting curiosity and a sense of adventure guide both my life and my design work.

My Design Journey

My path into design started in the theatre, where I learned how to bring stories to life through multimedia production. From designing posters to troubleshooting tech, those early experiences taught me to be resourceful and inventive — skills that continue to shape how I approach problem-solving in design today.

Since then, I’ve built digital products, guided design teams, and collaborated closely with engineers to turn ideas into real, usable experiences. At the same time, I’ve found a lasting place in teaching, where I mentor students in design thinking and creative exploration. Teaching fuels my own growth and keeps me connected to the fresh perspectives that make this field so exciting.

Lately, I’ve been drawn more deeply into inclusive and accessible design, from improving usability in NASA’s Eclipse Soundscapes project to reimagining interfaces that invite every type of user to engage fully. As I look toward the gaming industry, I’m eager to bring this focus into game UI — creating experiences that are not just beautiful and intuitive, but also welcoming to every player.
