Game Content

Overview

You're down on your luck after being evicted from your home and forced onto the streets. Nowhere to go and no one to turn to, your only option is to accept the offer of a mysterious stranger. Now you must court a monster - or die trying. Pick a monster you think you'll appeal to. Banter with them if they allow it. Entertain their games and interests. And most importantly: Don't get on their bad side. This is Risk-mance. Play if you dare.

Reflection and Next Steps

Summary

Our team created Risk-mance for a small Game Jam with our classmates. It was so fun to combine the horror and romance genres and see these characters come to life within the game. The game currently has almost 4,000 views and 2,000 browser plays which is incredibly exciting.

Iteration

Although we ran out of time to work on this game, we'd all love to pick it back up at some point to finalize and polish it. If there are future iterations, we'll most likely move the game to Unity or Unreal Engine, finish up the minigames, expand the storyline, and add more interactive elements.
